This week (43/09) Japan has released 765 ENC New Editions and 14 ENC New Charts, with a data size of over 125MB. As a result, UKHO has reviewed the plan for future ENC Base re-issues and it is bringing the re-issue planned for week 50/09 forward. ENC Base re-issues are now planned for AVCS and the Admiralty ECDIS Service in week 48/09 (26 November 2009), week 3/10 (21 January 2010) and week 11/10 (18 March 2010).
As a result of the Japanese New Editions and New Charts, UKHO has also reviewed the AVCS Folio coverage of the Japanese Inland Sea.
The currently planned ARCS Base re-issues remain unchanged. RC7 will be re-issued in week 47/09 (19 November) and RC10 will be re-issued in week 49/09 (3 December).
Through the Christmas period UKHO plans to issue weekly ARCS Update CDs as usual. AVCS and ECDIS Update CDs will be issued for all weeks except week 53/09 (31 December).
